Bible verses bout looking for love

I know everyone wants someone who will love him forever with everything whom we are! :)))
So I want to find what Bible says about love..:)

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ESV
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

1 John 4:8 ESV

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Galatians 5:13-26 ESV

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. ...

Psalm 1:1-6 ESV

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; ...

1 John 1:9 ESV
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 5:1-2 ESV

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Galatians 6:7-18 ESV
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. ...

Galatians 6:1-18 ESV

Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load. ...

Galatians 5:1 ESV

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 2:15-21 ESV

We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not! For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor. For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. ...

2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Acts 2:1-21 ESV

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven. ...

John 15:5 ESV

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

John 14:23-31 ESV

Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me. “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. ...

John 5:25-30 ESV

“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment. ...

Luke 10:25-37 ESV

And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.” But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” ...

Luke 7:11-17 ESV

Soon afterward he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him. As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd from the town was with her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. ...

Matthew 1:1-25 ESV

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram, and Ram the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon, and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse, ...

Luke 8:26-37 ESV

Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee. When Jesus had stepped out on land, there met him a man from the city who had demons. For a long time he had worn no clothes, and he had not lived in a house but among the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him and said with a loud voice, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, do not torment me.” For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. (For many a time it had seized him. He was kept under guard and bound with chains and shackles, but he would break the bonds and be driven by the demon into the desert.) Jesus then asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered him. ...

God's story

What's the very worst thing that can happen to us?

There are a lot of bad things to choose from.  We can become ill, lose our friends, family members, or pets, lose our jobs, our homes, all our money, or be victims of crime or natural disasters - but, by far the very worst that can happen is to lose our life forever, to cease to exist and to be no more.

No one really wants to die. To die means that our hopes, dreams, aspirations, our physical bodies, our appearance, our families, pets, talents, emotions, our struggles, have all been for nothing. What a waste, and what a shame, to lose it all forever!

But the fact remains:  We will all die as a result of sin.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Rom 6:23

Eternal death is the consequence of breaking God's Law.There is no getting around this.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Rom 3:23

We have "all sinned and come short of the glory of God". This eternal death is not really a "punishment from God", but is the direct result and consequence of the damage done by the violation of the Ten Commandments (The Law of Love) and the entrance of sin into a once sinless and perfect world.

God's Commandments are inviolate and immutable forever. They can not be changed nor added to by "one jot nor by one tittle". This is clearly stated in the Bible:

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Mat 5:18

The reason Jesus Himself had to die to redeem us from death, was because the Ten Commandments are eternally valid as the Law of the Universe, and can not ever be altered nor done away with. This Law is the law that binds all of God's creation together in perfect sense and harmony. Without the structure of this Law and its guiding principles, there can be only chaos, cruelty, sickness, depravity, murder, destruction, and death. The breaking of this Law perverts the order of life and results in certain death.

Satan's biggest lie is that we will not die if we violate God's Commandments. He has attempted to mislead us constantly all through history into believing that if we break the Commandments, nothing will happen and we won't die, despite God's warning that if we sin, we will surely die. He wants us to think that death is not absolute, and that we are able to speak, act, or participate in what goes on in the world after we are dead. He can cause the dead to seem to "speak" to us through mediums, the "apparitions" of dead people, statues of saints "crying", and etc., by using the many supernatural powers at his disposal. This is all Satanic trickery, as God's truth says that the dead "are sleeping and no longer take part in anything that goes on under the sun".

This "Great Controversy" between God and Satan began in Heaven, when Satan was cast out because of his rebellion against God's kingdom of love, and then came to make war on His children by speaking through the serpent (which was his first supernatural manifestation), assuring Adam and Eve that if they disobeyed God, they would not die - even though God told them that they would die if they violated the precepts of love. His purpose is to separate us from God's love and the salvation and eternal life now available to us through Jesus.

Satan hates us because God loves us. He loves nothing better than to see our suffering, death and destruction. Hurting and destroying us satisfies his desire to rebel against God Himself. He is constantly working to cause doubt, fear, and lack of faith in God's children. He unceasingly points out our deficiencies to God and strives endlessly to lead us into sin and away from Jesus and His love and saving grace. He wants us to believe that God is a cruel and exacting taskmaster instead of the loving and tender Father that He truly is. He wants us to think that God is the cause of all the woes and suffering in the world, when actually it is Satan who causes all this pain and destruction.

According to biblical prophecy, which is God's own word, we are now living in the "End Times". The Second Coming of Jesus and our salvation is imminent - "at the very door". Satan presently has at his disposal the use of "all powers and principalities" to deceive us and lead us into eternal death and destruction. He is "roaring up and down the earth like a lion, seeking whom he might devour", and evil and chaos are rampant under his direction. But, though it may not seem like it, there are still many who have love in their hearts, and who resist evil, and it is intended that they be saved. (You, yourself, may be one of those people!)

Remember this: If you were the only person who would accept God's love and salvation, Jesus would have died on the cross just for YOU! You are not unknown to Him; He loves you, and He wants life for you, not eternal death! God is always near and hears every prayer, even those unspoken ones. And he hears yours, too. He is waiting for you with great yearning and with outstretched arms. When one soul receives Jesus, there is great rejoicing in Heaven.

We need all the truth of God's word to avoid being deceived and tricked into eternal death. All need to learn the path that God in His mercy has provided, to guide us to Him and His Salvation, in these perilous and evil times. The ultimate deception of Satan will be his impersonation of Jesus himself, in his last and supreme effort to mislead God's children away from salvation, and to recruit followers to wage battle against God in the Final Conflict (Armageddon). We must be prepared, and put on the "whole armour of God" to withstand these attacks, to keep from being deceived, and to be able to stand blameless in the sight of God at the end of this world.

It is my intention to reveal God's Plan as it is explained by Himself in the Bible, in a simple and "true to our times" way, so that all can understand the truth of God's love for us, and the beauty of His plan to save us from death and give us eternal life.

Story of HIS amazing love

Very early in the morning, the soldiers brought Jesus to Pilate, the governor at the time.  Pilate asked Jesus, "Are you the king of the Jews?"  Jesus replied, "Yes, I am."  This upset the chief priests because they were jealous of him and the friends He had made with the Jews.

Pilate listened to the complaints of the people that brought Jesus, but he couldn't find any reason to punish Him.  Pilate questioned Jesus, but Jesus didn't stick up for himself (He knew that they wouldn't listen anyway).  He had done nothing wrong.
Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people and said to them, "I have talked to Jesus, and I find no reason to kill Him."
After they heard that all the people shouted, "We want Jesus!  Release Barabbas instead!"  Barabbas had been in jail because he had killed someone, and the people wanted him to be free, and Jesus to be punished. ( It sounds strange but it was like peer pressure.  The chief priests went around telling people lies about Jesus, so that they would be afraid of Him, and want to kill Him).
Pilate didn't like this one bit.  He wanted to let Jesus go, so he tried to talk to the people but they didn't let him.  They just kept shouting, "Crucify Him!  Crucify Him!"
Pilate tried again, yelling, "What has Jesus done wrong?  I can punish Him but then I must let Him go, He doesn't deserve to die!"  But the people just shouted louder to crucify Jesus and Pilate wanted to please the crowd so he freed Barabbas and sent Jesus to die.
The soldiers led Jesus into the palace and made Him put on an old royal robe and they twisted together a crown of thorns to put on His head.  Then they made fun of Him and said, "Hail, king of the Jews."  They didn't understand that He was a king, that's why they made fun of Him.
Next the soldiers led Jesus toward a hill called Golgotha.  They made Him carry the cross on His back, but Jesus couldn't carry it the whole way, he fell down.  The soldiers had whipped His back and it hurt so much that Jesus couldn't handle the weight of the cross on His shoulders.
A man named Simon happened to be near Jesus when He fell, and the soldiers grabbed him, and made him carry the cross the rest of the way.  The soldiers offered Jesus wine mixed with myrrh.  This was supposed to help make it less painful, but Jesus refused to have any.
When they reached the top of the hill they nailed Jesus to the cross.  There were three crosses, Jesus was in the middle and there was a criminal on His right and on His left.  Pilate made a sign to be put on the cross.  It read what He was being punished for: Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.
The soldiers watched Jesus and made fun of him, they even divided up his clothes to be even more mean.  And some people walked by and shouted, "You saved others, why can't you save Yourself?"  Jesus could have saved himself, but he chose not to, He wanted to save us instead.
Jesus ignored the people, but He did see his mother, his aunt, and some other women he knew.  Jesus felt bad for His mother, she was so sad to see her son die (just like your parents feel when you get hurt).
Then Jesus saw one of his disciples close to his mother, and he said, "Mother here is your son, and friend here is your mother."  Jesus couldn't say to much, he was very weak.  But he wanted his friend, the disciple to be like a son to his mother, and take care of her.  And from that day on he did.
Later, Jesus could not handle the pain any longer and He said, "It is finished."  That is when Jesus bowed His head and went to Heaven.
Suddenly, a huge curtain that hung at the temple was torn in half, from top to bottom.  And a man that had wanted Jesus to die saw all of this and he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!"  He realized he had been wrong about Jesus.
*
It seems like a really sad story, but its one of the greatest stories of all!  Jesus died knowing that you would do things wrong (that is what a sin is), things that you're not supposed to- like not obeying your parents, saying something mean to your sister or brother, or not telling the truth.  He knew what you would do when He died so many years ago.  Jesus died for everybody's sins, so now when we ask God to forgive us, and we are truly sorry for what we've done - He will act like it never happened.  That's right He forgets what we did!  Now that doesn't mean we should ever make the same mistake again, because by doing that it's like we're hurting Jesus all over again.

So next time you do something you're not supposed to, remember to say sorry to Jesus, and remember what He did for you!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NIV)

Nighty night

I lift up my eyes to the hills.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth Psalm 121:1-2

My new vision

Hi all God's wonderful creatures! I am very happy that something could work like that when a person has some kind of problem that can call friend who will pray for him!!. :) Well, I would like to share with you one of my vision.Several years ago the Lord put mission on my heart, I know already quite a long time that part of  my life I'll spend on a mission. This week, God has puted on my heart new greater passion and love for this thing. I have already been on mission, but it was a short-term mission - summer outreach. Therefore, i know something bout how it looks like. I plan to go to states in  less than a month to work and study there. At first I was planned i will stay there for 2 years. I had everything thought out and furnished. .. but it changed alittle. I realized, however, that such a mission is not only the little thing .It could be really expensive. Maybe for me it could be something over 100000kč. So I prayed for it and still pray for God's will ... ... I calculated that for one year working in the U.S., if I had a week safe half of their pocket money, I would save a little over $ 5,000. I also asked God about the right place where I should study DTS / missionary school / and i realized when I was in the states, it would be best to study in the States. So I continued to pray to fing DTS, where training and outreach exceed no more than those of my 5000th And oddly enough I found. It is in California in Chico. Altogether it cost me just over $ 5,000.I know that God was calling me on a mission, but I do not know when ... and don't know if CA is the best! :)Therefore I would like to asked for prayers ... it would be very nice if you had some time for me in day and remembered on me in your pray! :))) I will be very grateful for it! :)
THANKS A LOT!!!! Have a bless day!! :)) Ciao ;)

Holy is the lord

Don't be afraid , I've redeemed you. I've called your name. You're mine. When you're in over your head, I'll be there with you. When you're in rough waters, you will not go down. When you're between a rock and a hard place, it won't be a dead end. Because I am God, your personal God. I paid a high price for you. Isaiah 43:1-4

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you. Hebrews 13:17

Story of monday

Today i went shopping with my mum... and i started to be really bored so i sat on a chair and waited for my mum. And suddenly i saw small boy with a big toys...Toys were bigger then him and he held it in his little hands. He was totally looking for something he could put it there...and he found it! Big shopping basket. He put toys into this. Next to baskets dogs were lying and they looked pretty angry...and wolked around them and he looked pretty scared and he still said :  Do not worry dogs! Do not be afraid of me!!! It looked soo cute!
I started to laugh inside of me! Boy was really small, toys and dogs were really big but he wanted the basket! He chose the wrong one. It was broken. So i said him its broken and he looked at me and he realized im watching him! He put toys into right one and wanted to show it to his mother. His mother looked pretty angry with him and she screamed - hey ugly boy give it back and stop it!! Get out!! Rigt now!! but he still said - mum, i wanna these toys!!!
Oh! I really loved it! I loved his big toys and If i had money i would buy these toys to him! He looked sad! But when i watched on him I realized I really like him. Firstly i was really angry its a noisy place and kids are really bad, but when i really saw what he is doing,it changed me. God said me he loves him just like me. No differences. He showed me how much he loves these poor, sad and broken people. And I had to confess to God that I had pride in my heart and i had to apologize to him!!Now you can see...if you will look at people through God's eyes and heart you will see changes in your life!

Daily Bible Verse

" My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry"   James 1:19

Well... I am 20 years old girl from normal family. I have 4 siblings and im the oldest one. My dad is pastor and since i was born he worked in church. My mum is a teacher. I finished a language gymnasium in Czech Republic and now im going to move to USA for 2 years.
Sice i was small girl my parents told me bout God and some stories from Bible so i heard bout God many many years ago but i had to decided to live with him alone. This decision can not make someone else just you! You alone. I decided to invite God into my heart when i was 12...But this is long way..its not bout one decision, one sentence..its bout whole your life. In my life was and still is really difficult to feel God's love...I always knew he loves me but always it was like...in my head not in my heart and always when i wanted to pray - God showed me his love - voice in my head told me - dont do that, you know he loves you! So ive never asked God to show me his love...
But one day i did it! I asked him for it..and till now he shows me his amazing love to me. He gives me big or a little gifts everyday. But it doesnt mean it is easy to go with him. It is..and it always be! :) but you know what? I would never change it! because he died for us - is it small proof of his love?? Its the biggest proof of his life..i dont know anyone who will be willing to be crucified for someone else and also for his sins...  And he did it...and died for yu, for me..for our sins..but..thats not the end of the story. He has risen! the third day!! and that means the new life! hope and you dont have to died because Jesus has already died for you!!!!
And this is the biggest proof of love ever!! dont you think??

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations

Hi! This blog has name - simple bloog - but eventhought it is simple its perfect. Same as we are... we are simple, vulnerable and fragile...but God made us perfect. We are his perfect creation and he loves us with never-ending love.
And thats one of the reason why i would like to write this blog, to share his amazing love! And the second reason is the title of this note! - GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS!!
I am praying for you and hope you'll find my amazing Dad one day! :)
Be blessed and dont forger - there is someone who  really loves you!!
Christin
